Julie Anne Hewett, 51 was born to Hewett to Art and Petie Hewett on April 6, 1966, in Dallas, Texas and passed away on June 9, 2017, in Dallas, Texas. Julie was a sales associate at Swoozie’s for four years. She is survived by her sister Cissy Jones of Dallas, Texas; sister in law Shelly Hewett; nieces, Sally Hewett of Bakersfield, CA and Elle and Georgia Jones of Dallas, Texas; brother, Matt Hewett of Bakersfield, brother in law Craig Jones of Dallas, Texas; nephews Seth Hewett of Bakersfield, CA and Hudson Jones of Dallas, Texas. She was preceded in death by her mom Petie Hewett. Julie loved and cherished her two dogs, Tinkerbell and Zoe. They were her babies. She enjoyed helping other people and adored her customers at Swoozies’. She spent Thanksgiving morning feeding the homeless. Her love of animals led her to volunteer at SPCA and help find homes for furry critters she loved so much. She adored her nieces and nephews and loved their time. She was an avid skier back in the day. She had a huge heart and a big laugh. She will be dearly be missed and forever loved. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at 10:00 AM at Restland Memorial Park, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
