Julius Gene Reese's Obituary
Julius Gene Reese was-born on October 21, 1967 in Dekidder, Louisiana to the parents of Thomas Reese Sr. and-Alice Smith. He went home to be with the Lord on July ‘5, 2016 .at 7:17pm at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Julius was the second oldest child of all other siblings. Julius graduated from Dekidder.High School and went on to serve in the United States Army from which he retired as a Sergeant. He received several’ educational and professional accomplishments including a degree in business as well as being a self-employed truck driver. Julius is preceded in deathby.paternal and maternal grandparents, and granddaughter, Brooklyn.t’Sue” Birmingham. He leaves to celebrate his life: daughter, Lacey Crawford and four grandchildren; parents, Thomas E. Reese, Sr. (Phyllis) of Dallas, Texas and Alice Smith of Detroit, Michigan; 5sisters Sylvia Jackson (Guy); Schreese Reese (Chad); Destiny Bowers (Hasan); Elisabeth Reese all of Dallas Texas; Cynthia Hope Miller of DeRidder, Louisiana; 5 brothers Thomas Reese Jr (Lolien) ofEl Paso Texas; Robert Reese (Mia) of Phoenix Arizona; Mirick Hall (Jessica) of San Antonio, Texas; Dontate Hall (Whitney) .of Savannah, Georgia; Michael Hall of Richmond , Virginia; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and an abundance of extended family and friends . Memorial service for Julius will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, July 11, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3925 Bucknell Drive, Garland, TX 75042 Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
