Katharine Anne Magrini's Obituary
Katharine Anne Magrini, age 93, passed away on June 3, 2022, in Frisco, Texas. She was born to Pasquale and Angela D'Adamo on August 12, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York.
Mom’s passing fills us all with sadness. Dad called her Kitty as did everyone else. Kitty was a dedicated Registered Nurse. She was also a wonderful mother who loved each one of her four children unconditionally. Mom (Ma as we called her) was always there when we needed her for anything we just had to ask. She offered so much strength, advice & generosity.
One of her favorite things was to spend time with her children, grand - and great grandchildren. She enjoyed time with the Cotton Club quilting friends. Kitty was a talented artist, & enthusiastic accomplished quilter. Her creations were nothing short of magnificent.
Mom faced so many tough times and life changes. She was resilient and showed amazing and admirable strength making many tough decisions with grace and never ever had tears or complaints. Kitty enjoyed: dining out, shopping, cooking, gardening, and taking care of her family. She genuinely loved travelling to New Hampshire every year to spend time with her late brother James, his wife Christl, niece & nephew Michele and Scott D'Adamo, great nephews James and Vincent D’Adamo, Peter & Martha D’Adamo & James & Ann D’Adamo.
Kitty was a loving wife to her late husband Frank, devoted mother to Dorothy & Tom Repcynzski, Marilyn & Dan Hartup, Kathy Tinsley, Anthony & Janice Magrini.
Loving grandmother to Jennifer Nangano, David & Colleen Fazio, Christopher & Jennifer Nangano, Lauren Nangano & Miguel Dominguez, Danny & Micah Fazio, Andrew Caserta & Ashley Powell, Alex Caserta and great grandma to Devyn, Michael, Isabella, Nicolas, Cameron, Madelyn, Charlotte & Mateo.
Kitty leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and funny loving stories. She will be missed by her loving family devoted friends and all the many individuals who knew and loved her.
