Keith (Buck) Edward Wilson's Obituary
Mr. Keith Wilson, age 70, passed away peacefully from cancer on Thursday, May 26, 2022, in Grapevine, Texas. He was the son of Edward T. Sirls and Betty J. Wilson Sirls. He was born on Wednesday, April 16, 1952, in Houston, Texas. Keith leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family.
Keith attended Hamilton Park High School and graduated from Richardson High School in 1970. He also attended Eastfield College and Elkins Institute for Electronics. He worked for Sears-Transformco for 48 years as a lead Repair Technician until his retirement in 2020. He moved to Las Vegas in 1993 fulfilling one of his bucket list desires of living in a resort city. He had a passion for vintage cars and limited-edition watches.
Keith and Ira established a very close friendship in 1977 and were married on April 12, 1989.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 33 years, Ira Wallace Wilson of Keller, TX; his two children, Arquilia Hardie (Julius) of Carrollton, TX and Andre Young of Dallas, TX. He was Popi to his two grandchildren, Cameron Hardie of Carrolton, TX and Eryn Young of Dallas, TX; his father, Edward Sirls, Sr. of Longview, TX; one sister, Jo Anne Hines (Sammy) of Dallas, TX; two brothers, Edward Sirls, Jr. of Longview, TX and Tracy Sirls of Longview, TX. Eight sisters-in-law and six brothers-in-law and, a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Wilson Sirls.
A Service for Keith will be held in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Memorial Park on Saturday, June 11, at 2pm.
