Its been over 20 yrs since I last saw Uncle Wayne but I remember his visits to PA.My mother would be so happy to see her baby brother.I am saddened to hear of his passing..My condolence to Linda and family.
Ken had a strong presence but could be gentle in his emotions. He would say he did not want to disappoint Linda, even in small ways. If he were eating something that may not have been the healthiest, he would ask me not to tell Linda and would promise to do better. His love for Linda was so strong it inspired him to be better and better. How wonderful to have such a strong relationship that he was inspired to constantly improve. As I extend my sympathies to Linda and Ken's other family and friends, I hope they know that he not only influenced their lives but they had a wonderful influence on Ken. Ken and I became friends in 1973 and even though we haven't seen each other for many years, you have always been in my heart. You are now at peace and with Lady. Linda, thank you for taking such good care of Ken. He was blessed. Anita Reilly
?You are gone from our sight, but not from our hearts? Your journey is over and life?s? battle done? We have to say goodbye and shed some tears? but we have so many memories that we shared with Wayne separately and together. We can smile, laugh and embellish the stories as we tell of our remembrances? of the times together with him. His academic and professional accomplishments are well noted and we give him the honor due but for many of the family members he was and will always be ?Wayne?. Maybe because he was the youngest uncle and our age group, he was the nieces and nephews contemporary – a school mate, a pal an integral part of our lives. It is with great sadness that I learned of Uncle Wayne's passing. Although He was known as Kennan to some, He will always be recognized as Uncle Wayne by his family and especially his nephews (Nicky, Bernie, and Tony). Uncle Wayne was someone I admired immensely. He was a great inspiration to our family. He encouraged me to believe in my abilities and reach for the highest levels of achievement and excellence. I remember as a child returning to Martinsville for summer vacation and knowing I would receive the chance to ride in Uncle Wayne's Mach Five Mustang. The memory of his enormous smile, bold cologne, and fast car will forever hold a prominent position in the experiences of life. The Heavens await you Uncle Wayne.
