Kenneth Locke “Grankens” Boren passed away May 20, 2016 at home, peacefully in the night. He leaves his beloved wife Jane; his daughter Sherri Moore and her husband, Stan; his son Gary Boren; his grandson Brendan Bickley; his grandson Colin Bickley and his wife Michele, and their children Kianna and Holden Locke; his granddaughter Snow Bickley; his grandson Blair Boren; his granddaughter, Hannah Boren and her son Nolan Indiana; his granddaughter Hayli Boren; and his sister Virginia. He will be missed by all, including loving stepchildren David, Scott, Paula, and step grandchildren Natalie and Will, along with nieces and nephews. Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife Minnie Lee; brothers Lloyd and Bill; sister Betty Jane; and his parents Lloyd and Verda Boren. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Rowlett. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Restland Memorial Park 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
