Kenneth Ray White's Obituary
Kenneth Ray White was born to the late Clinton and Maurine White in Grand Saline, TX on May 19th, 1933. Ken served his country in the Army before attending Tyler Junior College while working for the Cotton Belt Railroad.
He met his bride, Nita Nelleene Rigsby, while attending Junius Heights Baptist Church. Ken was a Dallas Police Officer for 27 years. His most memorable time with the department was on November 22nd, 1963,
when he was stationed at Dallas Love Field guarding Air Force One, awaiting JFK’s return. Sadly, JFK was assassinated that day.
Ken is survived by his two sons, Jeff and Greg, 5 grand children, Hillary Rigsby, Ryan White, Melinda White, Bethany Egan, and Rachel White. Ken is also survived by 3 great-grand children, Wyatt, Emma, and Levi Rigsby, and 2 brothers, Lynn and Jerry White.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Nelleene and 2 sisters, Jane Cain and Betty Hinds.
He was a kind and loving man who loved Jesus and his family. He helped raise two sons with patience, discipline, and humility. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
