Larry Faye Estes' Obituary
Larry Faye Estes, 84, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022. Although a long-time resident of Dallas, Texas, Larry was born in Wichita Kansas in 1938, to Wayne and Dorothy Estes, who preceded him in death. Larry was a devoted educator and spent more than 35 years teaching children in the Dallas Unified School system at the John F. Kennedy Learning Center, after having previously served, with Honor, in the United States Armed Services. In retirement, Larry’s greatest pastime was constructing dozens of intricately designed miniature houses, often spending several months on each. No person was a stranger to Larry, and he treated everyone with whom he came in contact with as a possible angel in disguise. Larry lived a simple life, bringing Joy and Laughter to the many he met. Larry is survived by his brother, Richard Estes, and Sister, Martha Estes Prestwood. Larry’s final resting place will be at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 AM.
