LaRue Gemsheim's Obituary
GEMSHEIM, LA RUE was born February 17, 1912 in Stephenville, Texas and passed away August 22, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Gemsheim; granddaughter, Joni Barnes; and her parents, two sisters, and a brother. LaRue is survived by her daughter, Barbara Rice and her husband, Jim; stepson, Charlie Gemsheim and his wife, Veta; grandchildren: Sheri Williams and her husband, Rodger; T.J. Turner, Jonathan Turner, Carl Williams, Alex Gemsheim, Annie Gemsheimbrother; brother, Neil Toler and his wife, Margaret; half-brother, Fred Toler and wife Doris; along with many other beloved family members. LaRue worked for Texaco for 31 years, where she met her husband ,Carl, and where the two of them made many lifelong friends. Her funeral will be held at Restland Abbey Chapel on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 3:00 PM. Family will receive friends prior to the service at 2:20 PM, in the chapel.
