Laura Martha Hulett's Obituary
Laura Hulett, 85, went home to be with the Lord on January 6, 2022 in McKinney, Texas.
Laura was born November 5, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Lorry and Laura Tindal. Her father was a Colonel in the Army Air Corp. Her mother was a homemaker.
Laura had a very full life. At the age of five she survived the attack on Pearl Harbor, while eating cookies in a cupboard with a childhood friend. She was one of the first employees of Tropicana Juice Company. She attended the University of Florida, where she met and married John Hulett. They would both work for NASA, where she was the only female draftsman.
She was an active member of Frisco Bible Church and enjoyed going to her Life Group.
Her interests included family, camping, dirt biking, vacation trips and reading her Bible.
Mrs. Hulett is survived by her daughter Terry Collins, son-in-law John Collins, son John Hulett, daughter-in-law Mona Hulett, Four grandchildren and One great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by spouse John Hulett, parents Lorry & Laura Tindal and half-brother Stayton Roehm.
Visitation for Laura Hulett will be Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
