Lenna Marie Saba's Obituary
Lenna Marie (Simms) Saba, 104, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on December 18, 2019. She was born October 16, 1915 to Ready and Eula Simms in Pickton, TX. Lenna married Emil Andrew Saba August 4, 1940 in Dallas TX and lived there for 79 years. She and Emil were married 71 years when he passed away in 2011.
Lenna was the cherished mother of four children, Ann (Bill) Worthy, Andy (Becky) Saba, Tommy (Claudea) Saba, and the late Gary (Sandy) Saba. She was also the adored Mema of 9 grandchildren and their spouses (Chris Worthy and wife Cecily, Allison Kennedy and husband Robert, Eric Saba and wife Sarah, Tony Saba, Jason Saba, Jeff Saba and wife Kristen, Jordan Saba and wife Amelia, Matt Saba and Chad Saba) and 15 great grandchildren (Henry and Owen Kennedy, Elizabeth, Emily, Cory, Jaxon, Jegan, Presley, Harlynn, Sienna, MiaKim, Alisa, Kara, Austin and Jordyn Saba. She was also actively involved in her community, working with the 1936 Centennial Exposition, as a member of the Citadel and working on various projects to support economic growth through tourism in Dallas.
Lenna will be dearly missed by all those whose life she touched.
The family would like to thank the staff of Faith Presbyterian Hospice for their outstanding care and support.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 23, 2019 at Believers Chapel, 6420 Churchill Way, Dallas TX. Memorial contributions may be made to Believers Chapel.
