Leonard (Lynn) H. Jaquess' Obituary
JAQUESS, LEONARD (LYNN) HUGH, 68, was received by his Heavenly Father on the morning of February 4, 2014. Lynn was born in Fort Worth, TX on February 20, 1945 to Hugh Jaquess and Gussie Mae (Mitchell) Jaquess. Lynn graduated from Haltom High in 1963 and attended East Texas State College in Commerce, TX. He wore many hats in his lifetime. He was a bareback and bull rider, general contractor for a home builder, crane operator at General Dvnarnlcs, production manager for Color Tile, and was a jeweler with a store in Aubrey. The remainder of his career was spent owning his own business selling products and guns at Gun Shows all over the country. He also became a promoter of several Gun Shows in Waco and Killeen. He was a member of Eastridge Park Christian Church, the Dallas Arms Collectors Association, Texas Rifle Association, arid the NRA. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Organizing and eating and pot luck dinners was special to him. Telling stories and making people laugh with his humorous jokes was so much a part of who he was. Lynn is survived by his wife, Helen Streetman Jaquess of Mesquite; daughter, Amy Jackson and husband, Bill of Keller; daughter, Tiffany Jaquess-Beltran and husband, Jose of Burleson; son, Ryan Jaquess and daughter -in-law, Tori of Allen; grandchildren, Sarah Jackson, Jeff Jackson, Michaela Beltran, Eric Beltran, and Bethany Jaquess; brother Gary Jaquess and wife, Gail of Fort Worth; numerous cousins and gun show family. Service will be at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Eastride Park Christian Church, 2701 Town East Blvd Mesquite, TX.
