Leonora Locklear's Obituary
LOCKLEAR, LEONORA beloved Wife, Mother & Mother-in-law, Grandmother & Great Grandmother, Sister – Leonora (Nora) Lee Robson Locklear born Easter Sunday on April 16th, 1933 to parents Robert W. Robson & Eithel Mae Nelson Robson and went home to our Heavenly Father on January 3rd, 2013. Nora was a member of the Dallas First Church of Seventh-Day Adventists, attended Sunset High School in Dallas, was an accomplished seamstress and costume designer/maker, an avid bird lover & watcher. Her interests included travel with her favorite destinations being the Texas hill country, and Texas countryside where blue bonnet & wild flower grew. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by her family and always had a hug & kiss for anyone. Preceded in death by her parents, she is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles T. Locklear both residents of the Dallas area, siblings Barbara Prudhomme, Jeannie Strain, & Bobby Robson; children Mike & wife Darlene Locklear, Pat & wife Pam Locklear, John & wife Gayle Rogers, Terri & husband Sam Showman, Kerri & husband Chuck Beck, Merri & husband David White, Chris & wife Melissa Locklear; grandchildren Kyle Locklear, Jeff Beck & wife Tammy, Brent Young & wife Adrian, Monday Alicia Locklear, Erin Price & husband Lester, Michael Locklear, Crystal Rogers & partner Stephanie, Matt White & wife Leslie, Rachel Barfield & husband John, Kelly (K.T.) Showman, Jacquie White, Jessica Bustos & husband Margarito, Casey Locklear, Becci Clinard & husband Phillip, Johnathon Rogers, Colby White, and Rosie White; great-grandchildren Vance Locklear, Cody Price, Jacob Young, Ethan Young, Shelby Price, Matthew Shephard, Jaylen Beck, Haylie White, Sammy Showman, (expected soon) Jack Truett Barfield & Emory Ann White. Service at 3 PM, at Restland (Dallas – Greenville Ave location), in the Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 pm prior to the funeral service.
