Leslie Leona Scheible's Obituary
Born in Electra, Texas and married Walter Scheible June 7, 1942. In 1952 the family moved to Dallas where Leslie was a homemaker, and retired from Sears in 1986. She was a member of the Polk of A and the Texas Accordion Association. When they weren’t traveling, they entertained at nursing homes as “The Old Timers”. She will live through the many wonderful memories of friends and family. Leslie is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Walter; and is survived by their children — Hank Scheible & wife Lyn of Denton, Jan Fletcher & husband Ken of Sherman, Will Scheible & wife Yolanda of Dallas, and Judy Malone & husband Ed of Dallas; 6 grandchildren & families; 11 great grandchildren; 2 sisters & their families, as well as many friends. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Service will be at 11 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Restland Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
