Lester Harry Porter Jr., 79, born in Spade, Texas, passed away February 7, 2018, in Arlington, Texas.Lester was married to Karen Gadberry on October 8, 1961, in Waynoka, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Air Force from 1956 – 1960 as an Airman First Class. He later became an Electronics Engineer.Lester is preceded in death by his parents Lester and Alma Porter and sister Betty Porter.Lester is survived by his loving wife Karen Porter of Arlington, Texas, sons; Stephen Porter and wife Marca of Arlington, Texas and Michael Porter and wife Carolyn of The Colony, Texas, sister Joyce Crowder and husband Ray of Santa Rosa, California, grandchildren; Elise, Ryan and Noah and great-grandchildren; Adrianna and Ella.Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018, at 12:30 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, Wildwood Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2018, from 6:00 – 8:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be following the service at Restland Memorial Park.
