Leta Faye Little's Obituary
Leta Faye Hughes Little passed away on August 31, 2016. She was born on February 27, 1931 in Dallas, Texas to Josephine Louise Cravens Hughes and Horace Hooper Hughes, who preceded her in death. Leta grew up in Dallas and graduated from North Dallas High School. She married Robert Edward (Bob) Little on March 15, 1952. Leta was predeceased by her husband, Bob, her parents and her sister, Patricia Raye Hughes. Leta was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. She was very active in Girl Scouting for many years, was a homemaker and an avid reader. She loved spending time with her family and sharing stories and her life experiences with her grandchildren. In her younger years, Leta loved to garden and enjoyed the outdoors. Leta leaves behind her brother, Robert Horace Hughes and his wife Darlene Hughes; 2 daughters, Karen Beth Little Palin and her husband, Joel Palin and Kathy Jo Little Cain and her husband David Cain; 3 grandchildren, Allyson Needham, Christopher Palin & Sarah Palin; 2 step-granddaughters, Morgan and Madison Cain. She also leaves behind 3 nieces, Donna Williams (Donald), Kimberly Bishop (Richard), Cindy Draper (Lee) and a nephew Steve Crane, as well as extended family members Joyce Deanda and Dylan Deanda. The graveside service will be on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243 in The Garden of Trinity. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
