Levi Billman's Obituary
Levi Billman, born July 9, 1920, went peacefully to be with our Savior early morning on February 12, 2009 at his home, after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Levi was born in Crawford, TX and grew up in Tahoka, TX, and served in the Navy from 1942-1946 and graduated from Baylor University in 1948 where he met his wife, Elsa Miller. Levi worked for Continental Press, an educational publisher for 38 years. He has been an active member at First Baptist Church Dallas for 63 years, where he served as Deacon and College Department Sunday School Teacher. Levi is survived by his wife Elsa, Children Frank Billman, Karen Billman, Brad and Vicki Christopherson Billman, Grandchildren Brett and Lauren Billman, Sister in law and brother in law Major General Clay and Clara Buckingham, Brother in law Al Miller. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home Friday Feb 13 from 6-8pm. Graveside service will be held at Restland at 9am on Saturday Feb 14. A Victorious Memorial Service will be held at 11am First Baptist Church – Heritage Chapel, 1701 San Jacinto Avenue, Dallas, TX 75201 on Saturday, Feb 14.
