I first met Linda in grade school at Lelia P. Cowart... She was tiny in stature, but had a determined spirit. There was never a sign of quit in her... Later, in junior high, at L.V. Stockard she was a member of the drill team and excelled regardless of size.
In the past year Linda and I had numerous phone conversations and we caught up on each others lives... She loved her dog Buttons and was so grateful for the love and assistance of her daughter Mandi...
Linda was always a real character... Regardless of her small size, she always lived BIG... All that knew her will remember her just that way... Bigger than life...

Linda was the best neighbor and great friend to my family. I've known Linda just about all my life. In my Mom's latter years, she watched over her for me without even asking. She was just that kind and caring. After my Mom passed, Linda, Mandi, and Patrick were there for me.
Linda had a heck of a sense of humor, a twinkle in her eye, huge smile, and always full of hugs when we saw her.
Kevin and I will always have a place in our hearts for you Linda, we will miss you dearly.
Linda and I first met in 8th grade at Stockard Junior High and instantly became good friends. For two years we had great fun, adventures, and lots of laughs. Linda could dance and was very proud to be a Stockard Strutter. She was tiny with about a 20-inch waist, and was always the first one on the field when the Strutters performed. Everyone loved Linda!
More importantly, she was a true and loyal friend...for life. No matter how much time elapsed between conversations, it always seemed as though it were only yesterday when we last spoke. I was blessed to be her friend.
Linda loved her family with all her heart. She could never say enough good things about sweet Mandi, her shining star soulmate daughter. Now that I know Mandi, I agree.
Mandi and Patrick, my heart aches for you. I hope in time you will find comfort in the many wonderful memories you have of your beloved Mom.
We shared many wonderful things on our FB Pages over several years. Although we never met, we shared many things including the neighborhoods of OAK CLIFF. Rest In Peace sweet Angle.
