Linda Joyce Lowrimore's Obituary
Our dear mother Linda Joyce Lowrimore of Carrollton, TX sadly passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at the age of 76. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She was predeceased by her husband, CW Lowrimore, her mother and father, Willie Mae and Charles Barnett and is survived by her son’s Brian Kirkwood and wife Stephanie of Newark, TX and Eddie Kirkwood and wife Donna of Northlake, TX. Her siblings, Richard Barnett and wife Susan, Sandy Pruden and husband Michael, Barbara Hartline and husband Keith and Scott Barnett. Her three grandchildren, Robert Brown and wife Morgan of Colorado Spring, CO. Lindsea Kirkwood and fiancé Duncan Broach of Denton, TX and Michael Kirkwood of Keller, TX. Her nieces, Leslie, Kelly, Dawn, Amanda, Theresa, and many extend family members and friends whom she adored. Linda was born and raised in Dallas, TX where she graduated from JF Kimball. She spent a lot of time volunteering including Cub Scout Den Leader for her sons, was both Past Supreme President and Grand President of Texas for the Military Order of the Cootie Auxiliary (MOCA) where she helped support the VFW National Home for Children and volunteered at local veterans hospitals. She attended The Branch in Farmers Branch where she was baptized. After retirement, she spent several years involved with The Firehouse Theatre in Farmers Branch to keep herself busy.
