Lloyd Alan Garrett's Obituary
GARRETT, LLOYD ALAN 78 of Mena, Arkansas passed way January 21, 2014 in Mena. He was born November 26, 1935 in Pittsburg, Texas to the late Homer Lee Garrett and the late Florine Hornbuckle Garrett. He was an airline mechanic for Braniff-Dalfort Airlines until his retirement and was a veteran of the United States Armed Forces serving his country in the United States Navy. He was a good man and a family man and will be missed by many. He is survived by his son, Allan Gregory Garrett and wife, Jessica of Mena, Arkansas; daughter, Susan Aileen Garrett of Mena, Arkansas; grandchildren: Joel Allan Garrett, Anissa Jo Garrett and Benjamin Joel Tucker; sisters, Dorothy O’Neal of Louisville, Texas and Norma Jean Owen of Irving, Texas; brother, Robert Garrett of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Katherine Garrett. Graveside service will be at 3:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2014 at Restland Memorial Park.
