Lois Fern Tribble's Obituary
Lois Fern Tribble, alert and feisty to the end, passed away on August 14, 2020 in Dallas, Texas. Lois was predeceased by her husband of almost 50 years, George Tribble, with whom she spent many happy years traveling the world. After George’s death, she was blessed with 13 more happy years with her new dance partner, Ben Pace, also deceased.
Lois was born in Waxahachie, Texas on October 14, 1926, the daughter of the late Orean and RB Hobbs. She was also predeceased by her sister, Evelyn Hobbs Colleps. Prior to her retirement, Lois was a bookkeeper/accountant.
Lois is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Tribble Witt and Eric Witt of San Diego, California, and by her niece and nephew, Carla Colleps Sparks and Jerry Colleps of Euless, Texas. Her humor and zest for life will be sorely missed.
There will be a brief Graveside Service at Restland Memorial Park Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Please dress comfortably if you wish to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you hug your loved ones.
