Loretta Jones' Obituary
JONES, LORETTA left this earth to be with our heavenly father on December 25, 2006. A graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 2:00 pm with Reverend Jon Sims of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Abilene Texas officiating. Loretta was born in San Antonio, Texas, to the late William and Elizabeth Pyne on July 11,1916. She married Wilson Malloy Jones and they shared a wonderful life for 50 years together. Loretta was a partner of Jones Manufacturing in Dallas for over 35 years in her professional career. She moved to Abilene in 1997 with her daughter and son-in- law, Jackie and Charlie Hamilton, and grew to love the city and her many friends she made while living at the Sears Methodist Centers. Loretta was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Wilson, known as ‘Bob’ to all that loved and knew him well, and her son, Wilson Malloy Jones, Jr. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Charlie Hamilton of Abilene, Texas her grandson and his wife, Christopher and Jennifer Hamilton of Saginaw, Texas and stepdaughter and her husband, Doris and Jack Lund and their children of Lansing, Michigan.
