Lou Hirsch Davison Ph. D's Obituary
Born September 20, 1930, passed away February 22, 2017. Lou was a loving, caring, and sacrificing woman whose main focus was her children. One of her greatest gifts to her children was to ground them in their Christian faith. Her faith led her to open her home to victims of Katrina. She drew strength from her morning devotional and enjoyed her activities with the Quota Club which afforded her a trip to China, the Kairos Ministry in Ruston, LA and the Terrific Kids Program which focused on teaching children about the importance of reading and setting and achieving their life goals. Lou served as a college professor who loved working with her students. Not only did she enjoy her students, she also enjoyed being a student receiving her Doctorate of Business Administration in 1993 at age 63 and in 1999 being named Department Head and Professor Emeritus at Louisiana Tech. She loved her Louisiana Tech family and was active in Her professional accomplishments included serving as the National President of the American Medical Records Association and traveling in that capacity. Lou is survived by her children, Sherra Naegele, Holly Carnes, Scott Stebbins, Kirk Stebbins, spouse Doug Davison, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many other family members and dear friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, 04 March at 1:00 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 3003 Horizon Road, Rockwall, TX. 75032.
