Louis Strey's Obituary
Louis A. Strey, 83, Garland, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 28, 2018. He was born on March 27, 1936 in Fort Stockton, Texas. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. He worked as an Tecnical Engineer at Texas Instruments until he retired in 1991. He enjoyed many hobbies including building bird houses, taxidermy and hunting treasures with his metal detector. He is survived by his wife, Billie Duff Strey. He is also survived by Kathy Green (daughter)Teresa Strey (daughter), Robbie Strey, (son), Rosemary Truett, (stepdaughter), Dianne Jackson(stepdaughter) and husband Mike, Penny Saunders, (sister) and husband Bobby and Jenny Strey, (sister), and seven Grandchildren, Dearl, Terry, Becky, Marie, Stephanie, Jason and Bobby. He was preceded in death by his parents Allie and Lucille Strey of McKinney, Texas, Barbara Smith (sister)of Blue Ridge, Donnie Strey (son) and Ronnie Strey (son) both of Denton, TX. A graveside funeral service for Mr. Louis Strey will be held at 11:30 am Friday August 3, 2018 at the Restland Cemetery.
