Harris, Margaret Lee Barr-Darden, was born in Razor, Texas September 10, 1934 to the late William and Flossie Barr. She received her education at Powderly High School. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. James United Methodist Church. Arthur City, Texas. She worked diligently in the service of the Lord from that date until her illness. She served as a member or the Communion Stewards and was an active member or the Golden Star Court Number 295 or the Heroines or Jericho, serving in various positions. Throughout her life she was employed as a domestic worker for many families. Even though she had no children of her own. she was instrumental in the lives of and in the rearing or many children. Margaret Lee Barr-Harris was married to the late Henry David Darden and later in life the late Wilson (Jabo) Harris. She was a loving and devoted wife. She had four sisters and two brothers preceding her in death, Vivian Butler, Altramac Laverne McCarty, Lizzie Mae Garland, Barbara Jean Barr-Jackson. William (Sonny Boy) Barr. and Lure Lee (Larry) Barr. She leaves to cherish her memory: Siblings. Erma J. Young (J. C.). Sacramento. CA, Maggie E. Allen (George), Arthur City, TX, Florine V. Barr, Dallas, TX, J.L. Barr, Sacramento, CA, Marie Booker (James), Garland, TX and; aunt, Lillian Pryrnus, Kansas City, MO; and a host of nieces. nephews and other relatives and friends.
