Margaret Dossett Langbein's Obituary
Margaret Ann Fortner Dossett Langbein, known as Margaret Langbein, passed away on September 20, 2019 at the age of 95. She is survived by son Dennis Dossett and granddaughter Cori Dossett.She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, for her charm and wit shall live on. Margaret was born on December 9, 1923 in Dallas, TX. She married Edwin Dossett and their union bore three sons, Edwin Dossett, Jr., Jimmy Dossett, and Dennis Dossett. Following Edwin’s death, she married Bobby Langbein, and was a loving stepmother to Steve Langbein (Jan) and Suzie Langbein Edgar (Fred). Margaret raised her sons while working as the manager for a doctors office for many years and Edward worked in the family’s Dossett Cleaners in Casa Linda after retiring from the US Navy. Margaret loved gardening, being a nurse to her family, spending time with her friends and family (in particular traveling to Mexico’s beaches with her son Dennis and being a grandmother to Cori and her friends) and listening to Johnny Mathis.She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Fortner, husbands Edwin Dossett and Bobby Langbein, sons Edwin Dossett, Jr., and Jimmy Dossett.Respects may be paid at her funeral at Restland Dallas on Tuesday, September 24. There will be visitation gravesite at 12:30pm followed by a service at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.
