Margie Stanglin Tarno's Obituary
Margie Stanglin Tarno stepped into Heaven on August 27,2022. She joined her loving husband who entered Heaven on July 17,1997. Margie was born on February 22,1930 in Dallas, Texas to August and Mary Stanglin. She married D.C. Tarno on October 4, 1947. In the years following she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. In her later years she enjoyed her time volunteering at Baylor Hospital in Garland rocking the newborn babies. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior when she was seventeen years old and followed Him faithfully all her life. She often talked of her excitement for Heaven and spending eternity with her loving family including her parents and siblings who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son Dan Tarno and wife Cendy of Canton, Texas; daughter Linda Lindquist and husband John of Rockwall, Texas; three granddaughters Melody Tarno, Jenny Worsham and husband Trent, Lori Canales and husband David; seven great-grandchildren Trevor Tarno, Brittney Baker and husband Kenton, Noah Worsham, Emma Worsham, Roxy Canales, Isaac Canales, Calista Canales; three great-great-grandchildren Linley Baker, Barrett Baker, Jayde Hackney. She will be deeply missed by her loving family.
