Marjorie Hall Huddleston's Obituary
HUDDLESTON, MARJORIE HALL born August 18, 1930 in Wichita Falls, TX to Elijah Colman Hall and Alma Belote Hall and died peacefully on Saturday morning, August 10, 2013 after a brief illness. Marjorie was raised in Wichita Falls then attended Midwestern University and North Texas State University, graduating with a Masters of Education. After teaching in Corpus Christi, she returned to Wichita Falls where she met and married Charles Huddleston in 1956. In 1959 Marjorie and Charles moved to Dallas where they raised three children. Marjorie later taught for Richardson ISD, retiring in 1989 from Spring Valley Elementary. Marjorie and Charles were married 49 years before his death in 2005. She is survived by her children, Carol Johnson, Chuck Huddleston and Jill Vigil; her in-laws, Mark Johnson, Nancy Huddleston and Julian Vigil; eight grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be at Restland Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A family graveside service will be held on August 14, 2013 at 9:30 AM, followed by a memorial service at 1:30 PM at Wilshire Baptist Church, 4316 Abrams Rd., Dallas Texas. Memorials may be made to Wilshire Baptist Church Pastoral Residency Program or a charity of your choice.
