Marjorie Fay Williamson's Obituary
Marjorie Fay Williamson, 87, of Crossroads, Texas passed away on August 28, 2017 in Denton, Texas. She was born June 16, 1930 to Lester T. Kerr and Minnie Mae Kerr in Dallas, Texas. She married Maurice Dale Williamson on December 31, 1980 in Tool, Texas. She worked for International Harvester for 30+ years as an administrative assistant. Marjorie was a member of Cedar Creek Garden Club (President), Cedar Creek Women’s Club (President), Cedar Creek Literary Club (President), and First Baptist Church of Tool, Texas. She was involved in many charities and women’s groups over the years and considered for happiest times were those spent with her family. Her kindness and generosity will be remembered always. Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Diane Gorzney of Cross Roads, Texas; son, Michael Douglas Coffey of Carrollton, Texas; brother, Marvin Ray Kerr of Tool, Texas and two grandchildren, Cameron Coffey Van Patten and McKenzie Diane Gorzney. She is preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Dale Williamson and brother, Douglas Mac Kerr. A celebration of Marjorie’s life will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, August 31 at Restland Wildwood Chapel.
