Mark Walton Jones' Obituary
Mark Walton Jones January 20, 1963 – June 28, 2017 – Born and raised in Montclair, New Jersey, resident of Richardson, Texas. Mark accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the age of four years old, and went on to serve the Lord faithfully for more than 30 years as beloved pastor, teacher, and counselor. He was one of three children born to the late James Edward Jones Sr. and Barbara Walton Jones, and was the beloved husband of Rebecca Jones for over 26 years. Mark will forever be remembered by his devoted brother James Jones Jr., loving sister Theresa Jones, beloved children Lindsay Jackson, Nathan Jones, Alexander Jones, Asher Jones, TJ Jackson (son-in-law), and caring in-laws Edward Czarnecki and Isabella Czarnecki, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him. Mark loved leading, writing, and singing worship songs, playing the piano, laughing, being with his family, and counseling those in need. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, a man of routine and tradition, and nobody could make better popcorn! Mark touched the lives of countless people with his infectious smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. We take comfort in knowing that Mark is reunited in Heaven with his earthly father, James E. Jones Sr. Together, they’re joyfully praising their Heavenly Father, singing, dancing, and worshipping.
