Martha Alice Hatt's Obituary
HATT, MARTHA ALICE went to join her beloved husband of 48 years, M.E. “Bud” Hatt, on June 28, 2012 after an 8 year battle with multiple myeloma complicated by adrenial and lung cancer. Bud & Martha loved Lake Highlands United Methodist Church, were avid bass fishermen, and New Orleans Jazz fans. She was born August 3, 1931 in Caddo, Texas and raised by loving aunts, Alice and Wilma Rogers. She retired after 30 years from Aetna Life and Casualty. Martha is survived by sister, Melle Guyton; children, Vicki and Russ Brickler, George and Peggy Hatt, Christe Mallette; grandchildren, Sara and Rachel Brickler, Alexis and Mike Teahan, Danny and Traci Harris; nephews, Dan, Jeff, and Lisa Guyton; and 5 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, July 2nd at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 3rd at Lake Highlands United Methodist Church.
