Martha Jo Wilson's Obituary
Martha Jo Wilson was born on March 29, 1921, and passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walton Wilson, on February 18, 1999. They were happily married for nearly 58 years. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Linda Wilson, daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Pat Wilburn, and daughter and son-in-law, Terry and Mike Frey. She was survived by 7 grandchildren, Wana Wilson, Kurt Wilson, Cindy Horn, Christy Wilburn, Tara Roberson, Clint Frey, and Samantha Frey. She was also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Kelsey Wilson and Jenna Wilson. Martha worked for the Garland Independent School District for 25 years, retiring in September of 1985. After her retirement, she and Walt enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. The family would like to acknowledge everyone who has been instrumental in helping care for her over the last few months, including the staff of Mayberry Gardens, the doctors and staff of Baylor Garland, Reliant Home Health Care, and Vitas Hospice. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held Friday, November 15, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel followed by a burial at Restland Memorial Park.
