Mary E. Smith's Obituary
Loving Mother and wonderful friend. Born February 27, 1912 in Mesquite, TX and passed away in her sleep at home on January 3, 2009. Mrs. Smith was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1930 at Mesquite High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, St. Elmo Smith; son, John Hardy Smith; sisters, Josephine and Virginia and brother, James. She is survived by her daughter, Helen; son, Ed; daughter-in-law, Norma; grandchildren, Christopher, Daniel and Heather; sisters, Hester and Martha. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, January 5, 2009 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 6, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Garland, 930 W. Avenue B, Garland, TX
