Mary Elizabeth (Sypert) Regan's Obituary
Mary Elizabeth (Sypert) ReganMary Elizabeth Regan passed away peacefully last Tuesday evening December 4, 2018, following a brief illness. She was born to Charlie and Mary Knight Sypert in Dallas, Texas on August 22, 1925. She moved with her parents to Oklahoma City as a child and went to Classen HS. She later met and married Edmund J. Regan, a Naval Aviation Cadet, on November 25, 1947. She played the piano, and was known for her beautiful soprano singing voice. Mary was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. At various times during her marriage, she lived in both the Dallas area, as well as in Southern California. Mary loved animals and especially her pets. She was a patriot, always involved in her Church, and made friends wherever she was. Mary is survived by her son Patrick Regan and his wife Cheryl of Plano, Texas; her son Joe Regan of San Marino, California & Anna Butturini; and her daughter Sarah Regan O’Meara and her husband Garry of Richardson, Texas. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.Visitation will be on Monday evening December 10, 2018 at 6PM to 8PM, at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2018 at 12:30PM at Restland Wildwood Chapel with a reception to follow services in the Restland Event Center.
