Meddie Ruth Turner was born on December 15, 1931 in Dallas, Texas and passed away on January 30, 2015 in Wylie, Texas. Ruth was a wonderful wife and loving mother. Her example changed many lives. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Turner; daughter, Rebecca Thomas; parents, Tracy L. and Meddie E. Wadsworth; siblings, Tracy, Bill, Ed, Earl, Lilly, Carol, Mary. She is survived by her three daughters, Dianna Luker, Connie McGlinn, and Sandra Drynan; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Justin, Michael, Jaimie, Benjimin, Dusty, Jenna, and Matthew; ten great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Anthony, Andrew, Kylie, Christopher, Christian, Trenton, Dylan, and Ascher. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Ruth was loved by so many. Family will receive friends on February 3, 2015 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Ruth Turner will be held on February 4, 2015 at 10:00am at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home.
