Megan and I have known each other for nearly 20 years—she’s been one of my best friends since junior year. She wasn’t just a friend; she was like a sister to me. She stood by my side during some of the hardest moments of my life, including when I lost my dad. The memories we shared are countless, filled with laughter, love, and a bond that time could never break.

The last time we spoke, we had made plans to get together, but life got in the way. My only regret is not making it happen sooner. Time is so fragile, and I wish we had just one more day.

Megan was a truly remarkable person, someone whose kindness and love left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She had a heart of gold and brought light into so many lives. I knew you for almost 19 years and met you when we were just kids. I told you I’d love you for the rest of our lives and I did. I’ll miss the stories you told about your entire family and things we shared between the two of us. I’ll miss listening to you vent or laugh. I’ll keep praying for your family, friend, in things only you and I knew about. It still feels like a cruel joke someone is playing on me.

Megan was a dear friend of mine that I met 10 years ago. Throughout the years our conversation would pick up as if it never ended. We went to see our fave comedians over the years. Was always such a fun experience. She was there for me when I lost my father, knowing just how close she was to her own father gave me peace. Megan always had a great attitude even if she was going through something. Her love for the Lord was a true inspiration to me. Rest in Heaven sweet girl and I’ll see ya around. 🙏

Jesus’ words in the Beatitudes bring peace to those who are mourning, promising that God will comfort them. This verse reminds us that even in the midst of deep sorrow, God’s comfort is available to us. We are blessed in our grief because God sees our pain and offers His tender care, holding us close during times of loss.

I needed this to help cope with the loss of such a beautiful and sweet person. I had the pleasure of seeing her around her family when (in my opinion) she shined her brightest. She was always accommodating and selfless and it was a pleasure to see that in her. Megan thank you for the impact you had on me and those around you.
