My sweet school friend, you have left footprints on my heart forever. Your smile, kindness and warmth will remain with all of those left here on this earthly world. I know for certain that you are rejoicing in the arms of our heavenly father. I will miss you!
Dane, Taylor and Lauren, I am grieving for you knowing your hearts are breaking. Melina loved you so so much. I pray that the Lord will comfort you in ways we can't comprehend. My heart goes out to her parents, too, knowing their concern and suffering over the years. Melina is now at peace. May God bless you all. With much love, Karen McFarland

Dane, Taylor and Lauren, There are no words that I can say to express my deepest sorrow for your loss. Lina was loved by so many and her passing will be felt for many years to come. I will hold so many wonderful memories close to my heart…our time at SFA, baking in my mom's kitchen, visiting her at Baylor, having the honor of her being in my wedding, her wedding to a wonderful man and friend and most recently our short, but sweet visit when you guys came to Hawaii. Heaven has reclaimed one of it's angels! We can only be grateful for the time that God shared Lina with us. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I love you Lina! Barbie
Dane, May the peace and joy of the lord comfort you and your family during your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
