Melinda Lou Stewart Murphy's Obituary
Melinda Lou Stewart Murphy passed away on August 3, 2017. She was born December 7,1939 and was a lifelong resident of Dallas, living primarily in the Lakewood/East Dallas area. Melinda was a graduate of Greenhill School and attended East Texas State University. She is preceded in death by her parents Wm. Jack and Eddyeiou (Ted) Latimer Stewart, brother Michaei and husband Earl L. (Bud) Murphy, Jr. Melinda was greatly respected and loved for her kind and gentle spirit. She found joy working in her yard, watching sports on TV, and sharing life with her beloved husband. Her survivors are nephews Todd and wife Benjie Stewart of Glen Rose, TX and Tim and wife Debbie Stewart of Rhome, TX, great nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 11, 2017 at Restland Memorial Park. “An excellent wife, who can find? For her worth is far above jewels”.
