Merlene Melva Sparks' Obituary
SPARKS, MERLENE MELVA was born September 9, 1924 in Tyler County, Texas to Hattie Mae Woodrom and Carl Franklin Bryant. She passed away in Dallas, Texas on November 25, 2007. She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Fred Sparks, their infant daughter and her twin sister, Earlene Elva. Her daughter, Andi Allen, and her sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Edgar Poe, survive her. Many loving nieces and nephews also survive her. Services will be held in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Memorial Park on Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. Open visitation at Restland Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2007. Memorials may be made in honor of Merlene to the American Heart Association, 1615 Stemmons Freeway, Dallas, TX 75207 or the SPCA of Texas, 2400 Lone Star Drive, Dallas, TX 75212.
