Michael Anthony Brown (Mikey) born October 5, 1983 in New Orleans to Ms. Mary Brown and Michael Dear. Mikey attended Fredrick A. Douglas High School. Then was later relocated to Dallas, Texas due to Hurricane Katrina. Mikey was employed at Serpro Logistics Warehouse. He loved his New Orleans Saints and spending time with his kids, nieces and nephews. He also loved music and dancing. His smile and sense of humor was to die for. If you knew him, you knew that he was the life of the party. He was the host, chef, Dj and at every family event. He was and always will be an 8th Ward animal. His life came to its conclusion on Sunday, March 27, 2016. He leaves to cherish precious memories, his children, Tyrea, Michael, Mikiera, My’keshun, Brooklyn, Maya, and Mialayah; his mother, Mary Brown; father, Michael Dear; sisters, Lavina Brown, Kenyata Brown, Nakia Dear and Arena Dear; his brothers, Jacob Brown and Emanuel Dear; his grandparents, Dorothy Brown and Wilma Brooks; his aunts, Josephine Ross; his uncles, Robert Brown, John Brown, Raymond Lynch and Herald Lynch. Also survived by a host of cousins and other family and friends. Mikey is preceded in death by his twins, My’kelle and My’shell Brown; grandfathers, Frank Brown and Herman Dear; and uncle, Mike Brown. He was a father, a son, a brother, uncle, a cousin, and a friend who will truly be missed. Forever in our hearts Mikey 8th baby. A memorial service for Michael Brown will be held at 2:30 PM, Saturday, April 9, 2016 in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
