With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Dale McClung Jr., who left this world on February 6, 2025. Michael was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth, humor, and kindness touched the lives of so many.
Born on July 3, 1980, Michael was the son of Cindy Stovenour and the late Michael McClung. He was also cherished by his stepfather, Michael Stovenour. He shared a close bond with his siblings, Steven McClung and Olivia Reagor, and found great joy in being an uncle to Marin, Harrison, and Luke McClung.
Michael had an incredible talent for drawing, a passion that allowed him to express himself in ways words could not. He found happiness in the simple joys of life—spending time with family and friends, sharing laughter, and brightening the days of those around him with his quick wit and kind spirit. He had a gift for making people smile, and his presence brought warmth and laughter wherever he went.
Though he is no longer with us, Michael’s love, humor, and creativity will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor his memory by sharing laughter, creating something beautiful, or simply spending time with those you love—just as Michael always did.
