Ms. Mollie Hope, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, in Garland, Texas. She was born to Mr. Napoleon Pat Murphy and Ms. Emler Carter on Sunday, October 9, 1930, in Fillmore, Oklahoma. Mollie had 6 brothers and 7 sisters.
Mollie married Marcus Leroy Hope, Jr. on Wednesday, September 8, 1954. Mollie and Marcus adopted 2 sons- James and Stephen. She is survived by son James, brother Hoppy Murphy: sister; Etta Bell, Numerous nieces and nephews.
Mollie leaves her loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. She will be sincerely missed by her loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.
She is proceeded in death by her husband; Marcus Leroy Hope, Jr., adopted son Stephen Hope; five brothers and six sisters.
