Morris Vernon Coyle's Obituary
Morris “Vernon” Coyle was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Vernon passed away peacefully on August 27, 2022, at the age of 84, with his family by his side.
Vernon was born in Lebanon, Kentucky on December 11, 1937. He attended the University of Kentucky where he was a avid football and basketball fan. Vernon was an accomplished electrical engineer. Early in his career, he was a member of a team that designed and built the first electronic money order machine in the 1980’s. His fascination with computers led him to start his own company where he built and sold computers before he retired.
Vernon is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara Coyle; son Michael Coyle and wife Shannon; grandchildren, Austin and Bailey; sisters Geneva Risinger and husband David and Lorene Harris; sister-in-law Valeria Coyle; nieces, nephews and many loving friends and family members.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Lela Coyle; and brothers Dudley and Kenny Coyle.
A visitation for Vernon is planned for Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 6 – 8pm at Restland Funeral Home at 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas 75243. A private graveside service will be held Friday, September 2, 2022 at 1pm at Restland Memorial Park.
