Morris David Wier, age 92, passed away in Denton, Texas on December 4, 2023. He was born to Clive V. and Mattie Wier on June 14, 1931, in Dallas, Texas. Morris leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
Morris was a proud American, who not only loved his country, but also his family deeply. He was also a proud Marine Corps veteran. His passion was hunting in the Northern mountains of New Mexico. He married the love of his life Nancy Critchfield on October 15, 1955, in Dallas, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clive and Mattie Wier. Also, his 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
To honor his memory will be his wife, Nancy Lee Critchfield Wier. He will also be lovingly remembered by his children: sons, Don Wier and Bret Wier; daughters, Rhonda Keller and Valerie Sanderson. Also to cherish his memory will be his 12 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.
