Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Ps. 116:15 Aunt Maye was so dear and precious to me. She was as close to perfect in every way as anyone I have ever known. She had imparted much into my life, and I have been so blessed to be her neice. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you during this time as all of Heaven celebrates her homecoming. Aunt Maye was the best of the best. She was my friend as well as my aunt and we shared many laughs and good times together. All through my adult years I have looked to her for guidance, which she gave not just through her words but also through the way she lived her life. She was my ideal and she gave me so much joy just in who she was and the may ways she cared about me and my loved ones: there was never a lack of love. She had a great mind and kept it active and positive, even when her body was weakening. I loved her and I will miss her, but I know Who she's with now, and that gives me comfort. I thank God that He placed her in my life.
