Oanh Huynh Duong - Vo's Obituary
Living through the Vietnam war, she managed to complete and graduated from the nursing school, became a registered midwife nurse, and married with five children. She had practiced midwife nursing from graduation in 1960’s until the day of immigrating to the United States in the late 1989. She had sacrificed all of her needs and desires for the sakes of a better life for her five children. With almost zero dollar in pockets, she and her husband resiliently worked extremely hard, purchased a home, and put all of the five children through college with various degrees. After a work accident, she had to retire at the age of 65 with full heart of grace and a proud mother of her children. During retirement years, she traveled to many places with her children, visited her children’s homes regularly, and spent precious times with her grandchildren. As a grandmother with 8 grandchildren, she always praised and extremely proud of her family. All of her life, she constantly and repeatedly giving and devoting to her family far beyond her needs and desires. Everyone loved and infatuated her through conveying and meeting her. As her health diminished, she never had any regrets and/or disappointments. On Friday October 6, 2023 at 1:52pm, she has suddenly left the earth and her family behind. All of the love and deep affection from her husband, children and grandchildren could never be expressed and manifested.
