Ollie Rebecca Legg Monroe, age 75, Passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at her home in Garland, Texas.
She was born to Harold Leroy Legg and Inez Mabel May on Wednesday, July 30, 1947, in Dallas, Texas.
Ollie (Becky) was preceded in death by her husband Cecil J. Monroe, her father, Harold L. Legg, her mother Inez M. Legg, her brother Harold W. Legg, her step-brother George E. Callow and step-mother Eulalah C. Legg.
Ollie (Becky) is survived by her sisters, Cheri M. Warren and Patricia G. Geiger, half sister Ruth A. Golden and (husband) Craig, step-daughter Corrinne Monroe and several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews.
Ollie (Becky) spent most of her working career in the automobile industry, in the service and warranty department. She retired after many years with Volvo of Richardson.
Ollie (Becky) had a very loving and giving heart and all that new her always said she was such a sweet person.
All that knew her knew her huge love of animals and knew they were a large part of her family. Whether through the rescue centers, adoption or fostering, she always had room for them.

Visitation for Ollie will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on December 10, 2022 at Restland Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243.
