THORNTON, ORA LUCILE passed away on November 7, 2013 in Garland, Texas. Ora was born on December 16, 1919 in Belton, Texas to Richard and Jessie Swaner. Preceded in death by her husband, Oran L. Thornton; mother, Jessie Swaner; father, Richard Swaner; brother, Buck Swaner; and sisters, Ivy Long and Gertrude Norton. Ora is survived by daughters, Llana Willcut and husband, Michael, Kay Potts and husband, David; son, Oran Buck Thornton and wife, Robbie; granddaughter, Angela Pelkey; grandsons, Tony Martin, Jeff Buono; and great grandchildren, Jeffrey Buono, Mossimo Buono, Tyler Pelkey, Timothy Devine, Tommy Devine, and Travor Pelkey. “We love you and know you’ve joined Dad” Family will receive friends from 3:00-6:00 PM on Sunday, November 10, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 9:30 AM on Monday, November 11, 2013 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
