Otis Daniel Hart's Obituary
Otis Daniel Hart, 99, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away June 11, 2019 in Arlington, Texas. He was born January 26, 1920, to John Hart and Lillie Hart in Simpsonville, Upshur County, Texas.Otis worked with the Civilian Conservation Corps, the CCC starting in October of 1939 at Tyler State Park and Possum Kingdom Lake until November 1941. He made thirty dollars a month and they sent $22.50 home to his parents. He was the best PawPaw to Scott, Dusty and Misty and great-grandfather to Dakota, Denver and Hunter and best friend to Marie Worden. He also adored his two sons-in-law Sid and John. He was known as Uncle Pud by many that loved him.He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillie Hart and his loving wife, Edna Hart and daughter Jeanette Mathis.He is survived by his daughter Connie Minyard of Grand Prairie, Texas, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at Restland Abbey Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:30 – 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Burial to follow at Restland Memorial Park.
