Patsy Joann Dunlap's Obituary
Patsy was born November 4, 1936 to Claude and Quilla Hancock in Dallas Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Dunlap and brother, Robert Hancock of Dallas, TX. Patsy is survived by her brother, Billy Hancock; children, Sidney and Phillip Duran of Mesquite, Pam and Dave Zeibert of Galveston, Sharon and Don Maillet of Mesquite, TX, Scott Harris of Houston, TX, and Jennifer Dunlap of Mesquite, TX; grandchildren, Christopher LaPlant, Jessica Sloan, Tony Duran, Christine Winslow and Michelle Maillet; great-grandchildren, Catherine and Aubrey Winslow, Beau and Lacey Duran, and Heather, Ashlei and Brandon LaPlant; cousin (more like a sister) Jimmie Joyce and best friend, Connie Faulkner. Patsy retired from Reserve Life Insurance Co. and had many other various jobs to keep busy. When she was not working, she was a caregiver to her husband Raymond and daughter Jennifer. She loved her pet boxer Roxy Jane, country music and word puzzles. She was a generous supporter of many charitable organizations for Veterans, pets, children in need, and the Scottish Rite Hospital. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The visitation for Patsy Dunlap will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 10, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Patsy Dunlap will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Abbey Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
